Homemade Teacakes!

Cakes with Benefits is a great lover of anything Retro.  We even have a Retro Biscuit Club.  An absolute fave of ours are Tunnock’s Teacakes.  So, what better way to show our love than to recreate the amazing teacake ourselves..

How did we do it?

We used a silicone mould, poured in the chocolate and let it set. Then we made mallow, which you could just eat with a spoon and be lost for days.  We filled each chocolate shell with mallow then topped it off with a biscuit.  Lock in the goodness with more chocolate and leave to set. This is how they turned out.  I think you’ll all agree they’re pretty awesome!
