Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and more… for this special 1st Birthday cake.  Rainbow sponge with caramel flavoured buttercream inside.  We hope the birthday boy likes his special Cakes with Benefits cake!

What do Spiderman, Thor, Captain America, The Hulk and Iron Man all have in common? Well they were all on this cake! Chocolate sponge and vanilla buttercream inside.  A special 30th birthday cake for Kieran!

This cake was a birthday cake that needed to look like the owner’s garden shed and allotment… so Cake with Benefits set about making little fondant cauliflowers and cabbages and used broken up Cadbury’s Flake for the soil!

Poppy wanted a make up cake for her 12th birthday so that’s what Cakes with Benefits made for her.  Chocolate sponge and buttercream inside with surprise Smarties in each layer.  We made fondant lipstick, eye shadow and nail varnish plus LOTS of pink and grey, the birthday girl’s favourite colours!

Cakes with Benefits is a massive retro fan! For a special friend it was only right to make him a retro inspired “N” cake… coffee cake inside covered in magical retro sweets….

This year my very own super Dad turned 70! He isn’t a fan of buttercream and was very specific about the cake he wanted.  The base was an orange and almond cake, the middle a lime and polenta cake covered with lime curd and the top sponge was coconut.

Cakes with Benefits went on a family holiday to Hong Kong and when we got back we had a very special 1st birthday cake to make.  The gorgeous Isla loved Peppa Pig so we put together Peppa, George and mummy and daddy pig along with a muddy puddle just for her.

This weekend, it was a special little boy’s second birthday.  Freddie loves his cars and buses, so we made him a cake with just that…. plus a fire engine and a few other cool things! With rainbow sponge inside, it was a perfect addition to his bouncy castle party.

If you love the inside of a Tunnock’s teacake then you’ll love this cake.  We covered this sponge with mallow and topped it with fruit goo, blueberries and strawberries.

We had a couple of birthdays to prepare for this week.  Cakes with Benefits makes a fab chocolate biscuit cake that’s filled with all your favourite treats and covered in brightly coloured sprinkles! It’s super yummy!
